Beautiful,Bright and True a little small
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Its true Americana. My son in law served and received a purple heart. It was just the perfect gift for him. Its beautiful and well made. Do wish it were a bit larger. Kinda of hard to find something inbetween.

Very nice lantern
I am very pleased with this Gr8Gardens Hummingbird Solar Lantern. It is 6.5 inches high by 5 inches in diameter, cylindrical-shaped, and has a bright copper finish with slight black streaking to simulate a patina. It has performed reliably for a month–including several rainy days–producing a cheerful glow and projecting lovely patterns on nearby surfaces at night. About 5 hours of sun during the day gives enough charge to keep the lantern lit til almost dawn. One minor issue is that the lantern has a highly reflective interior, resulting in areas of brighter light when viewed from different angles, rather than an even glow.

I admit, I ordered this after just a quick glance. I say a solar Bigfoot and I ordered this suckered! It wasn’t until it came that I realized he’s carrying a beer and surrounded by American flags. You might not mind that, but I’m from a long line of veterans and it’s a violation of the US Flag Code. Granted, very few people follow the Flag Code and it’s not a law. It just may rub some people the wrong way, so be aware.That said, the lamp is a good size and had a strong light that lasts. Because of the season, I currently have it sitting on a window sill; our Iowa winds are extremely strong and I want to get a hood hook for it, because if I hung it from a tree branch, it would snap off and be in the next county. Even in indirect sunlight, though, it charges enough to cast good Mr. Sasquatch over the dining room wall for most of the night. Excellent functionality, good size!
