Tips for installation:

There is a cheaper, one piece model at the Dollar store, but much flimsily made – metal rods are thinner, …. This model was of much higher quality giving it great stability. The metal does not bend with the wind, and there are additional extras in the kit: a clip to keep the flag better tethered to the pole for legibility, instead of flapping and possibly getting blown off and away depending upon wind direction, with optional end stoppers to ensure so. Also pole is in two pieces for easy take apart and storage. Great paint job as well.

Comes in a small package that fits in a mailbox. So efficient from a shipping environmental standpoint. That means you have to put it together but that is easy. Metal rods are significantly thinner than others. Does not include a flag retainer. I would recommend putting some thread locker on the threads as I’m guessing as the flag is pushed by the wind it would be easy for this to come apart. About 1/2 the price of others though.

Wire thinner than I expected
The wire isn’t as sturdy as I had hoped. The height is fine and the curved horizontal wire holds the flags on well. No risk of a flag flying off. I wish the wire had been a thicker. I realized it was bending when I pushed it into the ground. It didn’t make a permanent bend in the vertical stand, but it showed me how flexible the wire is. Still, I think it will serve its purpose to hold the decorative flags. It just won’t take much abuse.
